I'm on YouTube

I am so sorry I haven't blogged in forever! So much has happened recently, I'm driving, I've bought my first home - and finally settled!!

So here's my big comeback - I've started a YouTube channel!! Please check out my first video here (Face Of The Day) and let me know what you think :)

YouTube is a brand new kettle of fish for me, and it's slightly nerve-wracking! But I had a lot of fun laughing at some of my faces.

Love to you all

Product review: Gosh Lipstick

I have never really bought or tried any products from the brand 'Gosh' before, but after having a peruse in my local Superdrug, I ended up buying this lipstick and a Brow kit from them!

This lipstick is the 'Velvet Touch Lipstick' in colour 160 - Delicious, it really does live up to its name as it feels so soft and moisturising whilst applying it - I've worn it practically every day since I purchased it!

I really want to go back and buy more in different shades as this one is quite a natural shade, and I think it would be great to try out a more outgoing colour.

Have you ever tried Gosh Lipsticks? Do you have any more of their products to recommend to me?

Raving about Lush face masks

Lush face masks have own me over in the last few months!

So far I have tried Brazened Honey, Love Lettuce, and BB Seaweed.

So these little pots of amazingness cost £6.25 each, and seeing as you get between 5-7 used out of each one I think it's pretty good value for money! Plus, if you take back 5 empty clean tubs to Lush you get a face mask free! Winner!!

I used to use sachet-like face-masks from Superdrug and Boots - and I literally can't go back, I tried one last week and I absolutely hate it, I've been well and truly converted, Lush face masks make your face feel so cleansed and soft. They are handmade with natural ingredients, and must be kept in the fridge and have an expiry date; so you know that everything you put on your face is fresh. Unlike these...

Ok, so the one bad thing is...they've seemed to block my sink whilst washing off - so if anyone knows how not to do this, and not to wash it off with the garden hose please let me know!

Do you use Lush face masks, which one is your favourite?

Nobody likes you when you're 23.

‘Nobody likes you when you’re 23.’

Yes I’m 23, and yes I’m quoting Blink182.

My apologies for not blogging as much as I’d like, but life can be hard to manage in your twenties.  So today I thought I’d post on some of the difficulties you may experience growing up.

1. Living with your parents – I moved out when I was 18 for university, and ended up living on my own for almost 5 years. Moving back home can be one of the hardest things – having to adjust back to their rules, and not having the complete freedom you used to have.

2. Saving money – for me this is for a mortgage. But it could be for a number of things, renting, holidays, driving etc. I’m quite a good saver, but I’m very impatient – it seems to be taking forever, but I know it will be worth it in the end.

3. Relationships and friendships – things change, people change and move on. We lose friends and make new friends as we get older. We see people less often as everyone now has their own problems and lives to lead. I have a group of friends who I’d call my best friends but sometimes don’t see them for months...this is hard to adjust to, but makes the times I do see them more worthwhile.

These are the 3 main problems I’m facing at the moment. I’m learning to be patient and always think positive – I’ll get there soon!

What do you find hard about growing up?
